Eligibility Criteria for Pakistani Students

The following are the eligibility criteria for Aga Khan University AKU Karachi:

Admission to the 5-year MBBS program is based on merit and leadership ability. There is no discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, or race. Students on the verge of completing or completing their HSSC can apply for undergraduate programs.

All interested candidates must fulfill the requirements of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Councils (PMDC).
Both English medium and Urdu medium students can apply.
A minimum of 60% marks in the HSc Pre-Medical Examination is required to apply to medical college. Candidates can also apply based on SAT scores, and American and Canadian systems of education.

Aga Khan University Karachi 2023 Entry Test Pattern

The entrance test for admission to Aga Khan Medical College is conducted every year. Aga Khan University Karachi 2023 conducts the entry test. Generally, entry test is conducted in different cities of Pakistan in the month of March or April every year. Around 100 students are admitted to the MBBS program at Aga Khan every year. After qualifying the entrance test candidates are shortlisted for interview. Shortlisting for interviews is based on a combination of secondary school achievement and AKU Entrance Test scores.
