INSTITUTE OF SPACE TECHNOLOGY ADMISSION ONLINE AND LAST DATE TO APPLY FOR IST:
As Institute of Space Technology has announced its admission for session 2023, you can apply online on their website or through the link. IST University offers admission for BS, MS/Mphil and PhD programs, so students can apply now by submitting their admission form and take their admission in IST University Entrance Test. Interviews and entry tests will be held after the admissions are closed. Then merit lists will be made based on entrance test and academic marks. Apply online at the IST University Online Admission Portal. No applications will be entertained after the due date.
IST Fee Structure for Undergraduate and Postgraduate:
IST Uni is offering many programs for Bachelors / Undergraduates. IST offers Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelors of Science in Avionics Engineering, Bachelors of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and BS-Maths. 90,000 per semester fee for all above bachelors courses including one time admission fee and other dues is 40,000. IST in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering offers Master’s programs in Aerodynamics/Computational Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace Vehicle Design and Guidance, Navigation and Control Courses. Satellite Communication Engineering, MS Materials Science and Remote Sensing and GISC are offered.
Fees for all above courses are 55,00 per semester for regular classes. The MS fee may vary if the university wants changes. Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduates:
IST eligibility criteria for graduates are different for many programs. Different courses have different eligibility criteria. The criteria for engineering programs is minimum 60% marks in FSC pre-engineering or equivalent studies. Pre-medical students having Additional Mathematics or appearing for Additional Mathematics papers can also apply and are eligible for the programs. Students awaiting results can also apply. General criteria for Space Science program are FSc, ICS, General Science or equivalent studies with Mathematics and Physics or Statistics. BS Mathematics program criteria are SSC or equivalent certificate. FSc, ICS, General Science, DAE, Maths and equivalent in Physics or Statistics can also apply. Eligibility Criteria for Graduates:
Masters/Postgraduate qualifications at the Institute of Space Technologies vary with program selection. As IST is about space technologies and things related to space and astronomy, most of the programs offered are related to space technologies. Although they offer master’s level education in computer sciences, management sciences, etc., you have many programs to choose from for space sciences and astronomy. Qualification criteria for aerospace engineering here is BS/ BE/ equivalent (16 years of education) with a strong background in aerospace, aeronautical, avionics, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, chemical, manufacturing or materials science and engineering. Minimum CGPA equal to or above. Marks above 2.00 out of 4.00 or above 60% (if CGPA is not available) from a recognized institute.
The standards for the Masters in Global Navigation Satellite Systems are the same as the standards for the above program. For Electrical Engineering, BS/BE/Equivalent (16 years of education) in Electrical Engineering or Avionics Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering with minimum CGPA 4.00 out of 2.00 or 60% marks. Institute of Space Technologies IST Merit List:
Space Technologies Institute merit list for all programs is available on this website. Applicants can check their name below for admission. From the official announcement of IST, they aim to announce the merit lists of selected students after one week from the registration closing date. So in this way, the date of merit list for Bachelors is probably June 2023 and for Masters or PhD aspirants it will probably be announced on 7th September.
